2 pounds beef top loin steaks — cut into 4 or 6 pieces
1 Tablespoon butter
1 each red bell pepper — cut into strips
1 each green bell pepper — cut into strips
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms — sliced
2 Tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons onion — chopped
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup water
2 teaspoons soy sauce
salt and pepper — to taste
How to Prepare:
Saute sliced mushrooms in butter until slightly browned. Add in onions and saute for 3 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients and let simmer, uncovered, until slightly thikened (you can whisk in 1-2 T soy flour that has
been dissolved in 1/4 cup water if desired for a thicker sauce). Fry steaks in remaining butter for 2 minutes each side. Remove and stir fry pepper strips for 2 minutes. Add steaks and sauce back in and simmer 10 minutes or until steaks are done.
