deep south ham and red eye gravy

Ingredients:
1 tbl butter
1 ham steak about 1 1/3lbs
1 cup strong coffee
3/4 teap. sugar
1/4 tea hot pepper sauce

How to Prepare:
Place 10″ skillet over med-high heat until hot.
Add butter, tilt skillet to coat bottom.
Add ham steak, cook 3 min. Turn cook 2 min longer. Remove ham; place on plate or platter and set aside increase heat to high add coffee, sugar, pepper sauce. Bring to boil continue boiling 2 to 3 min until reduced to 1/4 cup liquid, scraping bottom and sides spoon over meat.
