Prep Time: 5 mins to make, 40 mins to cook

Ingredients:
5 eggs
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. seasoning salt
dash of oregano
4 turkey sausage links ( cut into pieces) or regular sausage links.
3 pieces of bacon ( cut into pieces)
1/4 cup mushrooms
1/4 cup of cheese ( your choice)
How to Prepare:
Mix eggs and heavy cream until blended. Add all ingredients except cheese in the bowl. Pour mixture into pie pan ( I did spray mine with PAM)Crumble cheese over top! Bake at 350 degrees for about 40
mins!

Should the sausages and bacon be cooked before you add them to the egg mixture? Thanks.
Andrea, I like to pre-cook foods like sausage, bacon and beef, then drain off the extra fats etc. You can cook it in the quiche or cook it before. It is just a little extra work is all. This helps cut down on calories from fats and really helps during induction. It also helps limit bad fats. If you think it might come out a little to dry to your taste you can try adding in some olive oil, coconut oil or flax oil depending on what you like. I like olive oil.
